Other Details to Note
Our home sits atop a beautiful hillside with stunning views—which means you’ll get peace, privacy, and some of the best sunsets around. With three full decks to spread out on, there’s plenty of space to lounge, dine, and unwind outdoors. Just a few helpful things to know before you arrive: Septic system: Our home runs on a septic system, so only toilet paper should go down the drains—no wipes, paper towels, feminine products, or cooking grease. We’d really appreciate it if you make sure your whole group is in the loop on this one. Natural backyard terrain: The backyard has a pretty steep slope and is surrounded by trees. While it’s lovely to look at, it’s not set up for running around or playing—especially for younger kids. Most guests hang out on the decks, which offer all the nature without the hike. Pets: As much as we love them, this isn’t the right place for pets. There’s no fenced yard, the ground is rocky and sloped, and wildlife is active in the area. For their safety and yours, it’s best to leave the fur babies at home. Driveway & parking: The driveway slopes downhill toward the house and can be a little tricky for first-timers. Please use your emergency brake, and take your time when backing out. There’s plenty of parking in the driveway for 4 vehicle, Please make sure that all vehicles are parked fully in the concrete portion of our driveway. The asphalt portion leading the the drive is public right of way, and the neighborhood requires us to keep that open and unblocked. Please make sure no one parks in front or blocks neighboring properties Garage access: The garage is used for owner storage and isn’t accessible to guests - but the rest of the house is all yours to enjoy! Thermostat Use: The home has a Google Nest thermostat, located on the kitchen wall to the left of the fridge. It’s the small white circle with a mirrored front that lights up when it senses motion. To use it, tap the right side of the outer ring, then slide your finger up or down to scroll through the menu. Tap again to select your option. We don't limit the temperature settings - make yourself comfortable! If you will be gone for the day, we'd love if you bump the settings around 74-75.
