Other Details to Note

Our home sits atop a beautiful hillside with stunning views—which means you’ll get peace, privacy, and some of the best sunsets around. With three full decks to spread out on, there’s plenty of space to lounge, dine, and unwind outdoors. Just a few helpful things to know before you arrive: Septic system: Our home runs on a septic system, so only toilet paper should go down the drains—no wipes, paper towels, feminine products, or cooking grease. We’d really appreciate it if you make sure your whole group is in the loop on this one. Natural backyard terrain: The backyard has a pretty steep slope and is surrounded by trees. While it’s lovely to look at, it’s not set up for running around or playing—especially for younger kids. Most guests hang out on the decks, which offer all the nature without the hike. Pets: As much as we love them, this isn’t the right place for pets. There’s no fenced yard, the ground is rocky and sloped, and wildlife is active in the area. For their safety and yours, it’s best to leave the fur babies at home. Driveway & parking: The driveway slopes downhill toward the house and can be a little tricky for first-timers. Please use your emergency brake, and take your time when backing out. There’s plenty of parking in the driveway for 4 vehicle, but we do ask that you avoid parking on the street to respect our quiet cul-de-sac, and the neighbors space in front of their homes. Garage access: The garage is used for owner storage and isn’t accessible to guests - but the rest of the house is all yours to enjoy! Thermostat Use: The home has a Google Nest thermostat, located on the kitchen wall to the left of the fridge. It’s the small white circle with a mirrored front that lights up when it senses motion. To use it, tap the right side of the outer ring, then slide your finger up or down to scroll through the menu. Tap again to select your option. We don't limit the temperature settings - make yourself comfortable! If you will be gone for the day, we'd love if you bump the settings around 74-75.

Guest Access

You have access to the entire house and backyard. We are located at the end of a quiet cul de sac at the very top of the hill. The backyard is very natural and rugged, with a lot of slope, so not typically accessed by most guests - the three levels of decks are the best way to enjoy the outdoor space. Please be respectful of the neighbors and park in the driveway, not in the street. The driveway is a steep slope towards the house, so you'll want to use your emergency brake and use caution when backing out. The garage is not accessible to guests. You will have a personal keycode to access the house during your stay.

This has been one of the best stays my family and I have had! Beautiful surroundings and the home was so spacious it easily accommodated our group of 8. The home was exactly as described and was better than we could have hoped for. We will definitely be staying here again!

Kellys home was an amazing spot for my vacation with some friends! The balconies were so fun to chill on and the views from them were awesome as well. The kitchen had everything we needed as far as dishes and utensils go. The beds were super comfy and cozy. Instructions were super clear on check in and check out. I felt right at home at this airbnb!

Find Us

We are on a hill, so our driveway is steep! You will need to use your parking brake. Some people prefer to unload from the street, but please only leave cars on the street for limited periods as it blocks the neighbor's access. The laid back pace of Canyon Lake makes it easy to explore. Parking is pretty accessible in the nearby shops and restaurants, but you'll need your own car. Uber and Lyft are available, but wait times may be slower in off season.
